On Al-Khaleej Road east of the oasis lies Zaki Al-Salem Farm, one of the largest farms growing Hasawi red rice in Al-Ahsa, alongside other crops of the oasis. Each year the harvest season is marked with celebrations that draw visitors to the farm with festival-like experiences around the Hasawi rice crop. The farm also has a natural sulphur-water spring rising from the ground, around which countryside chalets known as 'Aryaf Zaki' have been built, letting guests bathe in the mineral-rich warm water amid the greenery.
