Bait Al-Koot
Historic downtown Hofuf

Bait Al-Koot sits in the historic centre of Hofuf, a short way from Qasr Ibrahim and the Qaisariyah Souq. It opened in May 2024, and the practice that designed it — Al-Shayeb Engineering Consultancy — announced the opening, placing it in what it called the heart of the historic city of Hofuf. The house presents itself around specialty coffee, tea and sweets. Its name belongs to the Al-Koot district, the oldest quarter of Hofuf, the quarter that holds Qasr Ibrahim and Al-Jabri Mosque and reaches as far as the Qaisariyah Souq. Three separate places in that quarter carry Al-Koot in their names and are unconnected to one another: Bait Al-Koot, Ratio Al-Koot inside the souq, and the Al-Koot Heritage Hotel facing the fort — worth keeping apart when looking for any of them.
